I’m scheduled to teach the American Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Marketing Boot Camp, hosted by the AMA Dallas.Ft. Worth Chapter, Dec. 7-8, 2006, and I have mixed feelings about it.
Mostly because this is the last nonprofit marketing training program I’ll be doing this calendar year (my next one isn’t until February 2007 in Washington, DC) and I really enjoy these sessions. The downside is the travel part – it’s such a hassle these days, especially for those of us who go with carry-on luggage.
Back to the program: for those of you interested in learning nonprofit marketing fundamentals, or if you’re in need of a refresher course, there’s still time to register for the Dallas program. And if you’re coming from outside the Dallas/Ft. Worth region, please don’t let the challenges of travel discourage you. Just think of it as an adventure … that’s what keeps me going.
I hope to see you there!
